Carole Daugherty grew up in a military family with two sisters and two brothers. She first learned to sew from her mother and grandmother when she was very young. At an early age it was clear that Carole was a perfectionist in everything she created. Her Heirloom work and embroidery have gained much acclaim in the sewing world and she has been publish in a number of influential magazines. Today she living in sunny Florida close to her sister, Renee Moreno (also an accomplished seamstress) and has raised two daughters of her own.
